Storyboard and Shot Angles

  1. It would have been awesome if you guys could have gotten another day of filming in when the weather was nicer and more sunnier- it might have added a lot to the "change". Love the use of family photos/videos.

  4. I think the shots of the field is a little too bright on the screen because it's hard to see the landscape. Overall, the video synchronizes with the music really well.

  5. i like the number of angles within the car especially from behind him. The shot of the cross would have been more effective if it had came into focus. Many shots were a bit shaky. Although it was cold i think some of the shots would have been more clear and sharp if the window was rolled down but nice job.

  6. I think the video portrays the concept that you pitched very well. Would've been nice to see if some of the shots weren't so shaky. But overall good job!

  7. I could have instead of playing with the zoom in almost every shot, set the zoom where I wanted it and just filmed close ups or far away. Maybe brace myself on car more so I don't get as much shaking.

  8. I feel like the shakiness of the camera worked well with the environment. The only problem I had was with the shot of the reflector. I could see the hand of the camera man in it holding the camera.

  9. I liked pretty much everything. The camera work was great but I think the shot of the cross should have been more focused. Also there was a bit of a pick up in the energy of the music but I didn't really feel the change in energy in the shots. Loved the old looking footage that was used.

  10. Excellent timing of the cuts to the different shots! A little bit shaky here and there but really great job everyone!

  11. Good job guys! I liked the smooth transitions between the scenes. I liked the song, it fit in well with Ben singing while he's driving and going to the family photos and videos. The story also fits in nicely about how we all change, but Christ doesn't. I also like the variety of shots you guys chose. Again, good job!

  12. Nice video, and good music choice. I liked your intro and the use of the home movies in the beginning, although I think they coul'dve benefited more with a softer transition rather than a hard cut back to the main character, I just think it would've fit not only the song better but the snowy atmosphere outside. Maybe of the changing shots during the part of the song when it gets faster and more exciting it could've have helped it better.

Either way, great job, I think it fits the theme of the song very well!

  13. It was a bit shaky in the car, but I don't really know how you could fix that. The photos and home videos were a nice touch. Maybe use a warm overtone, it would give it more of a warm nostalgic feeling, something I feel like everyone can relate to.
