I really liked the last scene. I think I would have liked to see more overall shots though to convey more distractions. I felt to focused on what you were typing.
I think the concept was good. I don't know if the camera angle was purposefully low but your hands were in the way of the words which made it hard to read...
I think the idea of using a computer to relay thoughts has the potential to be good, but overall I didn't get the sense of distraction; everything seemed more planned than the spontaneous distractions you were trying to create, which made a sort of discord.
I like the idea of typing on a computer and random things distracting you. I think if you would have stopped immediately as a sound happened, gave a little bit of body language of annoyance or something it really would've helped.
It was creative using the screen to talk. Maybe the point would have been better presented if you had used common distractions like the TV or your phone.
Like your concept of distractions. I know what your idea was, maybe if you had a little more time you could have polished it a bit better. But overall a good job!
I kind of like that you typed an inner dialogue. It gave us a peek into your mind without needing to speak. The fact that there is no music is interesting as well. It makes a more poignant effect when something disrupts you from your concentration.
I thought the computer screen was hard to read at times due to glare and some of the shots got out of focus. The distractions were good but maybe work on the positioning of the camera and some light music w/ the sound effects would have helped it flow better.
I think it would have been helpful to plan out your typed script beforehand. The deletions and re-typing brought me out of the video.
ReplyDeleteI though the typing was a good idea although it was hard to read at some points.

ReplyDeleteGood choice of liquify effects (distorted vision).
ReplyDeleteI liked the theme of distractions, although the typing kinda threw me off on what was going on
ReplyDeleteVery clever and unique idea for this video! I liked how you put dialogue in and also how you added distracting effects in when walking around.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good idea communicating with the viewers through microsoft word

ReplyDeleteI think a different angle for the typing would have been better since I was not always capable to read what was on the screen.
